6:00 PM Cocktails on the Diller – von Furstenberg Sundeck

7:30 PM Dinner under the cover of the Chelsea Market Passage

Friends of the High Line hosts its fifth-annual High Line Art Dinner on Thursday, September 14, 2017. The event, unique in its setting on the High Line itself, welcomes guests to celebrate High Line Art’s commitment to expanding the role of contemporary art in the life of public spaces and pushing the limits of what public art can be.

The High Line Art Dinner has become a favorite event among influential supporters from the worlds of art, design, architecture, entertainment, real estate, fashion, and philanthropy. Guests enjoy sunset cocktails on the Diller – von Furstenberg Sundeck, followed by a seated dinner under the cover of the Chelsea Market passage. This year, we are pleased to introduce our inaugural High Line Art Dinner honorees, Brooklyn-based artist Carol Bove, who transformed the Western Rail Yards in 2013 with her High Line Art commission, Caterpillar, and continues to inspire High Line Art’s program and mission, and Donald R. Mullen, Jr., founding and dedicated supporter of High Line Art.

High Line Art is proud to present the work of world-class artists on the High Line free of charge, 365 days a year. Proceeds from the High Line Art Dinner help sustain this mission, as well as the ongoing maintenance and operation of the park.
