Radamés "Juni" Figueroa
Mutations: La Deliciosa Show

Presenting guest band La Exitosa

Wednesday, May 31, 6 – 8 PM
On the High Line at 30th Street

Join us for a music performance as part of Radamés “Juni” Figueroa’s piece La Deliciosa Show. Guest band La Exitosa – hailing from Puerto Rico – is composed of visual artists who will play renditions of a range of popular and obscure Spanish language songs from the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s. Featuring performers Joel Rodriguez, Manuel Mendoza, Jose Carballido, Lorraine Rodriguez, Michael Linares, and Pablo Guardiola.

La Deliciosa Show is presented as part of Mutations, a group exhibition that explores the relationship between man and nature, looking at how the boundaries between the natural world and culture are defined, crossed, and obliterated.

"Mutations" is supported, in part, by an award from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Major support for High Line Art comes from Donald R. Mullen, Jr. and The Brown Foundation, Inc. of Houston. Additional funding is provided by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. High Line Art is supported, in part, with public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the New York City Council and from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature.
